News flash! The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry is here in Canada! Well, the 37 panels that pertain to Canada are here in Guelph at the Guelph Civic Museum for a quick exhibition from November 9-28. These tapestries were stitched by various groups in Canada and the Guelph panel was, of course, stitched by members of the CEGG! CEGG members also worked with others to finish 2 panels that had not been completed (The Hector and the Nova Scotia panel). So, a lot of our stitchers are represented! The Guelph Civic Museum is open Tues-Sun 10 am – 5 pm and admission for Adults or Seniors is $6. guelphmuseums.cawww.scottishdiasporatapestry.org
